Important Updates + Back from London

Hello everyone! This ID picture isn't the only thing that’s new. You’ll notice the name change, core membership, clear-out of my deviations, jazzing up my gallery etc. I’ve changed my name because I am now officially a self-employed professional freelance artist.  Well, in the broadest terms. I am setting up an art business -  Leo Mitchell: Art & Illustration. Where I plan to sell original pieces, take commissions and put myself out there for paid work. I’m still laying the bricks down before I’m truly open for business. Due to waiting on equipment deliveries. So don't rush to ask for a commission or price details just yet. Stick with the rest of the journal. 

I’ve been both incredibly busy and incredibly stressed - which isn't great for your health. There have been some unpleasant external issues involving family, business, finances, scheduling, projects, writing and drawing my graphic novel etc. 

I ended up in a very dark place in my life, as dark as my thoughts have gotten. I’ll only say its taken a lot of willpower to keep myself going forward. I know I’m being vague about all this, but truthfully it’s best I do for the sake of good taste and not to put any of you in a panic. I’m fine now and plan to keep aiming upwards.

Given everything, my critique of Kung Fu Panda 3, which many of you have requested, is rather low on my list of priorities. I have gotten a lot of my thoughts written down. But really there’s no big rush to release it ASAP. It’ll be done when it’s done. 

So with everything that’s been going on, my parents and I had a break down London for a week to visit family. Of course, while I was there I managed to gain more information and research for the graphic novel. Now I've come back fresh and ready to start work.

It should allow me earn a living whilst I’m on with the graphic novel. I know I’m certainly looking forward to it.
